Vanity Illustrated
I’ve had a bit of a drawing breakthrough in the past couple of days. I’ve begun experimenting with drawing with straight lines. It’s astonishing how much difference it makes.
I usually dread drawing because it doesn’t come easily to me, but the day I drew this was one of those precious, magical days when every line flowed effortlessly.
I’ll give a visual example another time and maybe even a quick and dirty how-to, but for now here’s my submission for this week’s Illustration Friday theme: “Vanity”.
